“Jackson, you and Angel are going to want to come to Control and see this, now,” Garcia’s demanding voice coming into his comms woke Jackson from a sound sleep.

“On our way,” he replied, his voice rousing a sleeping Angel.

By the time they made it there, Cooper and Doc were already standing, huddled in close to view the feed Garcia had queued up on one of the monitors.

“I’ve got them,” Garcia announced. “It took some doing, but I’ve traced them to this warehouse in Michigan’s UP, of all places.” An aerial landscape video zoomed in on the rusted out, dilapidated-looking structure nestled between dense trees in the rolling hills. “Looks like an old wood or pulp mill.” He clicked on the keyboard several times. “It’s been shut down for some time.” A few more clicks brought a thermal view of the structure, showing at least a dozen heat signatures within. There wasn’t another sole around for miles.
